SCIENCE SUCCESS IN 4TH GRADE

In our study of matter, we have been talking about how to measure volume.  We completed a great activity today where students practiced measuring volume.  The end result of the activity was that after completing all the steps correctly, the fluid in the cups made the colors of the rainbow!!

Leprechaun Traps--March in 4th Grade

Here are some photos from our March S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) activity "Making a Leprechaun Trap" and also some pictures of our Reader's Theater groups performing Dr. Seuss books on Read Across America Day.  In addition, everyone brought "rhyming snacks" such as Slim Jims, Nutter Butters, chips 'n dip, and so on for a celebration honoring the King of Rhyme"

A-MAZE-ING STEM ACTIVITY

Here we are completing one of our March STEM projects in honor of the windy month of March!  Students worked to design a maze and timed how long it took to blow a marble with a straw through the maze.
