THIRD GRADERS EXPLORE DENSITY

Mrs. Grant's 3rd graders found that not all liquids are created equal.  Corn syrup, baking soda, water, and vegetable oil were layers in a cup.  Students then dropped vinegar drops into the cup.  The vinegar was less dense than the water but more dense than the oil.  Then when the dropper was put down in the baking soda layer, A CHEMICAL CHANGE HAPPENED!!
